Parallels and Windows XP internet problem
I am running an imac with osx version 10.4.9. Just installed parallels and Windows XP. When I try to use the internet in windows with either firefox or IE some pages load (google.com, yahoo.com, and some others) but most don't, the page cannot be found. I am not sure what makes some of the web sites work and why some don't. What could be the issue. I have tried fiddling with the security settings but nothing. The internet works fine in safari. Any help is appreciated.

Why not just switch over to Mac OS X and access internet through there?

Sometimes the even if the connection is okay, your Windows browser may have connection problems accessing out. Have you tried restarting your computer, and trying again?
