External Burner on imac
Hi,
I have an external burner HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H10N that I use on my MAC.

I have just inserted a blank CD and it seems my mac is no longer finding this.

When I insert the CD I receive the "Action" message box. I choose to ignore the action and when I do this, there is no sign of the burner on my mac.

I have used Applications > Utilities >System Profiler and the drive appears there.

I have also used Finder > General and made sure that
* Hard disks
* CDs DVDs and ipods
* Connected Servers

are checked to appear on the desktop.

Please help.

I want the external burner to appear on my mac when switched on and want the CD to appear on my desktop.

Instead of picking ignore, pick Open in Finder then.
