Cool I Got A Mac!
I got fed up with all the problems in Windows and was sick of drooling over all the cool features and programs for OX X, so today I got a MacBook Pro. It's so fast and fun to use though it takes some getting used to and I have a few complaints. It gets really hot, and the keyboard is set back too far.

If anyone has any tips, fantastic programs, or anything else, please post them.

heres a quick list I compiled about 10 months ago shortly after I switched myself.

I'd have to add to that a few things.

If you use open hotspots commonly, finding them on OS X can be a chore without WiFind. It costs $8. Well worth it if you use it.

Quicksilver. Its free. Its the most powerful tool a Mac user has.

and a quick overview on the software

I use if for everything from launching applications to checking my gmail, and opening my favorite websites.

Hope this helps a bit

Oh, and since you have built in bluetooth, no USB keys or dongles needed, every time you turn this on, it automatically syncs.

get one, they are invaluable. I dropped 2 of my digital camera batteries in to mine when I first got it about 9 months ago, and have yet to change them

Hey Ferrija1 - bet you are having a blast.

I see you are from the 'Burgh too. Did you get it in the Shadyside Apple store or Mac Outfitters by chance? I get a lot of my little stuff in Cranberry .... but order my big systems directly online.

Have fun!

Well there is an Apple Store a few minutes away from me at a mall but they did not have any MacBook Pros for a few days, so I called the store in Shadyside, and they had one left and I went down and picked it up.
