Powerbook goes to Sleep
Powerbook G4 running Mac OS 10.4.10- screen goes black suddenly. The only sure way to wake it up permanently is to disconnect power and battery, press power button for five seconds so it shuts down completely. Then I have to reset the date/time. I've tried repairing Disk Permissions but after a while the problem returns-which is a PAIN.

What do I do to fix it permanently please?

Thank you. I trashed the prefs.plist file in the System Config folder and this seems to have fixed the problem.
