Screen capture function
I love the mac screen capture function. (If you don't know about it--it's a function that allows you to take a picture of whatever is on your screen and paste it into other applications to manipulate or modify the image. The short cut keys to perform the function are: apple button+control+shift+4).

My question is, does anyone know how to perform the same function on a PC?

I work with PC's at home and Mac's at work.

thanks

I don't think there's a built-in screen capture utility for PC. But you can try downloading fraps http://www.fraps.com/

I think that's the best one there is for Windows.

And for those who don't know all the screen capture combos for Mac, I have a post on it (Hey! it's only blog spam when it's useless! :P)

Look to the right of your F12 key. .... Press the PrtScr key ... (copy screen)
Then Paste the screen capture into a program that accepts a picture.

Alt+PrtScr Copies just the active window.
