Apple Imac Wont Boot
i just got a apple imac g3 tray loading version. guy told me it had ubuntu linux on it . but when i got it home. when i press the power button the light stays amber and thats it. no video. i think i can hear the drives upspinning but even tho i cannot eject the cdrom drive. any ideas?

If there is a disk in the drive, power on and hold down the mouse button, this will spit out the disk.

If the iMac is not coming up it and you hear the drives spinning, it could be one of two things:
1. Clock battery dead. Replace if you are save enough since its not soldered on the board.
2. Logic board may be fried.

Let us know what you find.
