I got the program iTerm (v0.9.5) and when I open it the window doesn't stay open. It shows that the program is opened in the Dock, but when I do a new window, the console comes up for a second and then disappears. I don't know why it does this. Please help and much appreciation.

when you click on iterm clcik ont he icon in the dock.. then look up at the top dock bar and there should be an option to choose noew or something of taht sort.. it proabbly ust opens and then closes beacuse it is the programopening anf then it had nothing to do after it opens so the window goes away.

I see the file menu at the top, and I also tried to make a new window from there, but that didn't work either. I also tried a bunch of other options from the menu bar at the top, but they didn't do anything. It is also my school's Macintosh, which has lots of administrative restrictions. I got it to stay open before, but I forget how I did that.

If you think the iTerm you downloaded might be messed up for one reason or another, try trashing it and downloading it again.
