Moniter reolution and internet connection
Yesterday I was helping my daughter trouble shoot a issue. She just hooked up a new 24 inch Samsung moniter to her MacBook which is 4 months old and has OS X Tiger. It worked perfectly except when she went on line (broadband with WiFi router) she found she couldn't connect, it would time out. If she shut off the moniter (did not disconnect it, just pushed the on off button), then the connection went back to normal as seen on the laptop screen. Turn on the moniteron and no conection. We finally tried turniog the resolution down 1 seting from the max resolution and that fixed it. I have no idea why that would be. Any thoughts?
