New ipod
I have had a 20gig ipod for a while and i just got the 160gig video one. I am wondering how I set this new ipod up in my itunes library without it clearing the entire library. I would like to avoid copying my itunes library and then putting it back into itunes after I set up the new ipod. That would take a really long time. Does anybody know the easiest way to do this?

Thanks

It shouldn't clear out your library. You'll just wind up with 2 iPods with the same content.

Optionally, you can turn off automatic syncing, then manually copy everything to your iPod. Just drag and drop.

Just plug the iPod in and you can sync everything you have on your other iPod. You can change what is synced in the Music tab when you are looking at the iPod's properties in iTunes.

Ok I hoped this would be the case but for some reason I thought it was otherwise. I'm not home right now but I'll try it when I get back. Thanks for your help. Merry Christmas.
