Question White Macbook...
Hey Everyone,
I am happily planning on buying a macbook in the near future. I was wondering if the white macbooks still have the problem with discoloration of the area where your hands rest?
Thanks.

Hi there -

From what I've heard, Apple has been aware of this issue for over a year now and has resolved it, so you should be good to go!

If I were you, though, I'd be sure to order it through Apple and inquire about it.

Hope that helps!

Thanks,
Yes. Actually, I am planning on ordering through apple anyhow. The reason being is that there isn't a store in my city that sells mac's. My staples store used to, but they are currently phasing them out. So, my only hope to the good life is through Apple's website. lol. So, yes, I will inquire about it to them. How would I inquire to them? Also, I would rather order through them anyhow, so I can make sure I get the most up to date laptop. Some stores I have seen still carry the old 2.16 Ghz versions ect...
Thanks again, your such a great help.

Hi Confuzzeled20:

When I purchase my Apple products, I do it online. But since you have a question I would call them: 1-800-MY-APPLE. That way you can speak directly to someone and have them help you configure exactly what you want (and have them address your concern over possible discoloration.)

Good luck - and more importantly - have FUN when it arrives!
