screen fault?
hi all,
in the top left hand corner of my screen there is a little white line about half an inch long, its almost unnoticeable but its there. its not visible when im using my mac , just on whichever screen save picture i use. its especially visible on darker colours.
my friend wiped my screen lately, could it be that she wiped it a little too hard and left some small damage? or is this something else?
its barely noticeable and it isnt bothering me but if its there something is obviously wrong.
could this be the start of a bigger problem?
i look forward to your help as always.

Hey pwalsh: how are ya?

Those screens are very touchy, and Apple usually doesn't recommend using anything but iKlear, their cleaning product.

Is your system under warranty still? If so I would contact Apple's tech support and inquire about it. I've seen similar situations where it has resolved itself, or it has gotten worse. If it's under warranty I'd have it checked. You can call them at 1-800-275-2273 (free the first 90 days.)

Good luck.
