Couple of questions about Harddrive space
1) How do you see how much harddrive space is being used (preferably on BOTH partitions, but at least on the Mac side)?

2) How do you reallocate the amount of harddrive space to each partition?

ICYNTK--I'm using Parallels as my "partitioner" I used to have it set up with boot camp, but Parallels was a bit more convenient. (or at least it was supposed to be). If you need any other information, just ask, I'll try to answer to the best of my abilities. Thanks!!

Hi Farmgirl22:

1: On the Mac side, RIGHT click your Macintosh HDD on your desktop, then left click GET INFO. Under "General" you'll see Capacity, Available and Used. On the Windows side (XP anyway) My Computer > RIGHT click Hard Disk Drive > left click Properties.

2. Take a look at this article detailing how to resize Mac partitions on the fly. Also - I believe the Parallels Image Tool can be used to resize your virtual disk.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the "get info" tip--that was exactly what I wanted.

As for the changing on the fly thing, I'm not sure that I'm capable of doing that--it sounds rather complicated, and I wouldn't even know how to start!

You can also view how much Hard Drive space you have left on your Mac if you look to the bottom of an open Finder window.
