No signal from monitor
Hi my friend recently bought a Mac and is having a problem with the monitor. He has tried using a crt monitor and a flatscreen lcd but cannot get a signal. It literally says "no signal" and the monitor powers down.Any ideas ? could this simply be a cable fault or could it be something more technical ? Any ideas on this would be great , thanks.

Hello:

Can you provide the specs on the Mac your friend recently purchased? Is it new?

Did the Mac come with one or both of the monitors you write your friend has tried? Also, what version of Mac OS is installed if possible and what are the specs of the Monitors.
