Airport seems to have died
Hi

I have a macbook running tiger with built in airport. Yesterday it just stopped working. The laptop hasn't been fried or dropped or had warez downloaded. The airport icon is greyed out, and if I stop and restart the airport the icon has 4 bars for about 30 seconds and then just greys out again. I don't even know where to start with fixing it. Any help would be appreciated.

solved
Airport was defaulting to WPA to authenticate to the router. I had changed it to my authentication method, but not unlocked the settings for editing, so they were not applied.
