Solved: Help needed with Finder View menu
So, I took an OS X support call by phone today and wanted the person I was speaking with to use the "Arrange By" menu in Finder's "View" menu to arrange some icons in a folder so she could see the icon I needed her to double-click.

Her "View" menu didn't have "Arrange By" in it but it had "As list" and "As icons" and "As Columns" and then "Show Status Bar" and "Show View Options".

How do we enable the "Arrange By" menu? I have NO idea why it's not in the "View" menu, where I was expecting it to be.

Thanks!

Peace...

Right-click in an empty area of a Finder window (or the Desktop), or click the View menu, and click "Show View Options". "Arrange By" is a drop-down list in there.
