Solved: db.thumbs
All my photos in one file have been put into a folder labeled db.thumbs and I can't open it. I typed in the problem in help and got nothing. I want to open the folder and get the photos back and to their original size. I have a fairly new Mac laptop and I am having trouble adjusting after using windows all my life. The folder is on a portable drive, but the drive has plenty of space. Any advice? Thanks...Liz

Do you mean thumbs.db (rather than db.thumbs)?

thumbs.db is how Windows indexes photos, it's not needed, there's nothing really inside it other than photo indexing information. I'd suggest just deleting it.

thumbs.db is also a hidden file on Windows, so you won't see it on Windows unless you choose "show hidden files".

If however, you actually DO mean db.thumbs, then I'm not sure...
