Question Solved: Saving dvd clip as a file
Not a regular Mac user, so need things explained carefully.
I need to cut out a portion of a news report that was put on dvd for me. How do I take that specific section out and save it as a file on the computer? I have iDVD, iMovie and Quicktime.

*Since this is a company computer, I am not able to pay for new software, so if I could get instructions for any of these (very complicated, might I add) programs, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I suggest you download DVD/AVI splitter for windows and install it in the windows and burn in an CD/DVD and access from MAC OS. I hope you have lot of friends who used windows.
