Neither for me, I use Foxit (freeware)

Why are you using a Windows app on a Mac computer?

Just to read PDFs - Preview. To work with a PDF (like fill it in and save it) - Reader.
My association for PDF is Preview.

I had preferred Preview, but about three months ago I purchased Adobe CS4 with Acrobat 9, so I use that as the default.
