Thinking of getting a Macbook
Hi there,

I'm seriously thinking about getting a Macbook. I've wanted one for ages but have never been able to afford one.

I'm looking at this one:
http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/pro...ps-_-position1
and this one:
http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/pro...-13-inch-MC240

Now from what I can see theres not much difference between the two, but what I really want to know is do either of these match up with my current Laptop? I currently have an Acer Aspire 6930g. Its got an Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 a 2.0ghz, 3gb Of RAM ( although I think it only has three to make up for the turbo cache graphics card.), its got a 220 gb hard drive (I know the mac is only 160) and the graphics card is GeForce 9300M GS.

Its the processor and the graphics card I'm most worried about. If I'm going to be taking a big step down, then its something I'd think twice about.

Any advice appreciated from you Mac fans,

Rach
PS - I would like to do a dual boot with Windows on the mac or at least run the Windows Emulator.

Either one is a good choice, but I'd suggest that you get the new MacBook Pro, which replaced the older MacBook:

Any Intel based Mac is capable of running Windows, either in an emulator or dual-boot.

Standard RAM for MacBook Pro is 2 GB. But you probably should get the maximum RAM you can (i.e. 4 GB or some take 8 GB); it will pay dividends within the next year. It is cheaper to get the RAM upfront rather than later.
