iChat

So I've never even used the program before and I clicked on a link to add someone on AIM and it tried to open with iChat but it didn't work. It'll bounce and the program opens but it won't let me start a new chat with anyone or even log in. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

Did you ever set up the AIM account on iChat? I'm guessing since you said you never used it before, you didn't.

Click:
iChat -> Preferences -> Accounts -> the "+" sign at the bottom of the Accounts panel to add a new account -> add your AIM account.
