OSX screenshots using CMD+Option+3 or 4 no longer saves to desktop??
Having problems with leopard. Everytime i take a screenshot using CMD+OPTION+4 or 3, the picture gets saved somewhere else. I can't find the picture, it use to save to desktop...

I tried searching and still can't find the screenshot..

help!!

Open the file ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.screencapture.plist

Within the list under the "location" key you sill see where the current location is set.

(You can also change the location if you wish although apps like macpilot can edit it for you with a nice GUI)

My preferences doesnt have a ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.screencapture.plist

- Can it be that it doesnt exist?

I just checked, I don't have one either. Alphabetically, it should be the 4th item on this list, but it's not.
