Password problem iMac.
Hi all,

Ive bin searching everywhere up i did found anything so im hoping you could.

I bouth 2 iMac 20" from internet that came of a school but when i installed it at home and turned it on it asked me fot username and password, that i did get from the seller, but the problem is iets not a administrator account. so i restart the iMac a was hoping to instal it by booting up from de superdrive Alt key but it asked me for a password and its not the one that i got from the seller, and de seller is now gonne. i triyed everything like Alt+CMD+P+R didnt work nothing works. i tryed to instal it with my macbook pro so i got the HD out and put it in a external drive and everything went good(the installation) but whene i put it back in the iMac it took a whill and the a grey File with a question mark came up so that no good also. b.t.w i tryed getting in singel user mode but it just gets to the OSX.

So is there anything that i can do?

tnQ you very much.

Check out this article:

If you still cannot reset it, try taking it to a Apple Store to have it reset.
