I am trying to remove data from a hard drive from a PC laptop that died. I purchased a hard drive enclosure and could not get it to read on any PC. I hooked up the drive enclosure to a Mac and, boom, it recognized the drive.

So now I am going to transfer all my Documents to the Mac, then from the Mac to an External hard drive that I use with my PC. I am wondering if this would cause any problems or if I have to do anything special?

Shouldn't be a problem as long as you have the programs (to open your transferred files) installed on the PC you want to view them.
