Wireless Network
I am having great difficulty setting up wireless network with my other Mac.
Apple will not give me support because I am not using an Apple modem.
The Internet provider is unable to help because everything is set up for windows.

I am using a Actiontec M1000 Modem that has a ‘pop in’ wireless upgrade.

When I go into
System Preferences
Internet and Network
Network

I have three green connected dots

Ethernet connected Automatic with an ip address Configure DHCP
Parallel adapter connected Automatic with a second ip address ConfigureManually
Parallel adapter connected Automatic with a third ip address Configure Manualy

All three are Location Automatic.
Please help me to understand what I should be doing. I am not getting a signal to my
Other Mac. Why is their 3 connections going and what should my goals for set up be?

Help me get some logic on this
Thanks!
