Unhappy IChat Issues
Hi everyone,
I have recently received a brand new Mac and am attempting to use Ichat. The issue is that as soon as I type in my password and press enter to log in, it opens the password window again. This happens every time and will not stop unless I press cancel. However, pressing cancel only removes the window and leaves me logged out. I don't know much about Macs, I just switched over from PC's (sorry) and I have no clue what to do to be able to log in...Thanks to anyone who can help me.

Hi misslilibea: welcome to TSG.

From your post I assume this is strictly an iChat issue? What service are you using with iChat? (MobileMe, AIM, Google Talk or Jabber?)

Did you set up iChat initially, the first time you opened it? See this Apple KB article on instructions for setting up iChat.
