my husbands mac won't open an attachment that shows a video on utube. It used to and just quit. any suggestions on how I can help him? It's a new Mac and has snow leapard os.

Are you sure the attachment is good?

If it shows it on youtube its usually just a link.

It didn't used to have this problem. all the email attachments that he gets are screened and he won't try to open them if they show a problem but this is a new thing.

We need more information as this is confusing.

1) So all attachments he gets won't open?

2) You said "he won't try to open them if they show a problem" What is saying there is a problem if you aren't trying to open them?

3) What is screening the attachments? (What program)

4) It almost sounds to me like you are suggesting they are not showing INLINE in the message and only as attachments at the end of the email, Is this correct?
