I'm creating a powerpoint presentation and realized the beauty of slide master which we need not have to put in page by page for the same reapeating thing, but say i have one page that is the intro and do not need the reapeating stuffs, how can i do that?

coz everytime I put in new slide, the info in the slide master will appear. Is there a way? thx

Hi,

This can be done from the Format menu, but you have to make sure not to choose 'Apply to all' but 'Apply' when performing changes.

For example, you can omit the pictures and background from the master, by selecting slide 1, then go to Format/Background, check the 'Omit backgrouynd graphics from Master' box, and click 'Apply'.

For more help, in PowerPoints, go to Help^/Inde, type 'Slide Master' and then go to 'Make a slide that differs from the slide master'.

Good Luck
