I installed MS Office premium 2000 and
everything works except Outlook.
When I try to start Outlook, a message box
appears asking for the server & the
mailbox. My CPU is on a network but,
we don't use a server or mailboxes any longer.
All mail is handled via the internet.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Cool Hello, Pablo. Welcome to TSG!
Go to Tools-Options-Mail Format and select "Reconfigure Mail support" and change it to Internet Mail Only. That should do it for ya.

Smile HURRAY!!!!
you can't imagine how delighted I am right now.
Thank you so much.
I wasn't able to correct the problem exactly as
you suggested, but it gave me a direction to head.
I wasn't able to get into Outlook at all, but I was
able to make the same basic changes via "mail" &
"internet options" within the "control panel".
Thanks again for your assistance.

Cool You bet, Pablo.
Happy to help, even if it's not right way!
