uninstall question
This may very well be a completely stupid question, but I'm going to ask anyway. Please be gentle. I have Office 2000 Premium installed on my computer and I don't use Front Page at all, (and don't plan to since I have Dreamweaver,) nor do I use Outlook (since I'm used to Outlook Express already, I just stick to that) so I would like to get rid of them. Is there any way that I can uninstall just Front Page and Outlook and not the rest of the Office 2000 package? I'm very inexperienced in these things, so if there is a way to do this, could you do a step by step response please? Thank you so much!

Also, does anyone know of any good free tutorial sites that can teach me how to use the other Office 2000 programs? Thanks again.

Cool Well, hello, Jaunty.
I don't know how to say this gently, but this is what I would do:

Completely uninstall Office 2000, use Eraser 2000, and then reinstall what you want. I just wrote this this morning, and that should be real helpful for you.

Let me get back to you on the links to learning...

you should be able to go to the control panel and choose add/remove programs. From the list choose microsoft office and click add/remove. Click the button to add/remove features. click the down arrow next to Outlook and choose not available. Repeat the steps for front page, then click update now. That should remove the programs.

Cool Hey, Jaunty...
Do what JimiT says. He knows better than me. This ain't sarcasm either.

Jim, as for Jaunty's question here, I thought Outlook was a little more invasive than that, and you'd wanna clean it out, no?

Thanks for the responses guys! I'll try JimiT's way first, since it sounds a little easier and then if that doesn't work for me, then I'll try it Dreamboat's way. I'll let you know how it goes! Fingers crossed...
