Question Solved: Searching for free software/utility to convert word into pdf!
I would like to convert Word documents (Microsoft Word 2000) into PDF files. I am therefore searching for software or a utility which is safe, free and offers good quality. Where can I find/download such software?
Thanks in advance for your time and all the best for this year!

(CutePDF Converter) is a simple program that can help to convert to pdf although doesn't have a lot of advanced tools such as acrobat writer but it can do pretty well in converting. I don't have a link but a simple google search will help you find it

Wow! Thanks a lot, all of you! I didn't realise that there were so many word-pdf converters out there! I'll try out CutePDF - it has very good reviews on CNET's download.com.

Quick followup: I noticed that tools like Cute PDF or PrimoPDF do not convert the hyperlinks, i.e. the hyperlinks LOOK normal, but you can't click on them anymore to open them in a browser - the information gets lost because the tools generate the PDF as a file which will be printed (and on paper, hyperlinks are simply text). So I found a new solution. I downloaded Open Office Portable on a USB stick, and within minutes I was converting away happily! The converter also has security features to prevent people from changing your file. So for those who are searching for a functional, practical and free alternative which conserves the hyperlinks (Open Office generates PDF files with perfectly normal and clickable hyperlinks) and who don't want to have to download a whole office suite onto the hard disk - Open Office Portable will do it for you on a USB stick! :-)
