Are you sure you won't want a 3rd version at some stage?

Well, I "THINK" he's going to want them merged back at some point, but I don't think that is an issue as I haven't added any to either side

One more question, I'm sure there has to be an easy way to do this without hitting every line. Can I remove all the ** with one easy sweep?

I used ASAP for this.

You didn't say which sheet(s), so they're all done in the attached. If you wanted something else, it's a free download.

(Emerald Forest -- only the other week Mrs bomb was saying "haven't seen that in years")

So candy, now that you have them all separated, why don't you put them in Access? Then, if you want another variation, well, Access is better made for this!

Actually, not sure if you saw the very long thread about the movie data base I lucked out and got a nice copy of what they came up with, so that is my next project

I think OBP has a database along those lines (well, I would bet he has done one!)
It appears he keeps a lot of the stuff he works out. A movie data base, huh? I may have worked on that - or not! Sounds familiar, but I may have just watched it unfold, too....

You did work on it. It was the man formerly known as gamecockfan's. He is like Prince now, we will have to start addressing him as a symbol soon.

I have a new question regarding this same spreadsheet.

Now, there has been a desire to keep one page as Bolded (meaning VHS movies), and one page DVDs not bolded (not sure if that matters ) and one page of "merged" meaning both movie types.

Is there any way to easily update the "merged" sheet by only typing new DVD purchases on the DVD page, or do I have to update the "merged" sheet manually?
