Anyone know a good C++ editor/compiler that is free or shareware with a reasonable price? It will need have a layout sort of like VB6 and able to make win applications fairly easily.

Thumbs up free C++ editor/compiler
www.bloodshed.net

They make a free C++ editor/compiler that is nice.
If you want to purchase one, then Borland might be a good option.

www.borland.com

Borland has the Personal edition of their C++ builder for $69

Hope this helps.
