usb detection
my pc only see 1 usb port.....yes the keyboard,...... and the connects to it....my problem is that i bought a webcam and installed the drivers....plugged in the webcam and nothing happens... i have 5 ports.....tried all.....but it detects the webcam if i unplug the keyboard...and and plug in the cam where the keyboard was......but ....no keyboard or mouse

I am not sure what the problem could be, but I wonder if you are using a hub to get 5 ports. Maybe the problem is the fact that you need to provide external power (usually 5 volts) to the hub. The symptoms are the same if you try to run a USB floppy without powering the hub. Hope this helps.
