Hi all

I would like to know if there is a way to uninstall NT Server 4.0 sp3.

I have it installed on top of win95 (on the same partition)

big jugement error installing it on a 1 gig partition and want to install it on another instead.

The CD is at work and all i have are the CAB files...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanx

Greetings

If you have Win95 and you can boot into it, then it should be quite simple.

1) Boot into Win95
2) Go to a Command Prompt
3) Type in (without the " "): "Sys c:"
4) Reboot the machine and make sure that it takes you straight into Win95
5) If it does (it should), make sure all files are UNhidden and delete the following files from the root of c:

ntldr
ntdetect.exe
boot.ini
bootsect.dos
pagefile.sys

WINNT directory

That should do it.

Ouch.... that hurt. Please don't ask me to do that again

Two Words......

LIFE SAVER!

Thanks, your advice worked like a charm. NT Server gone....NT Workstation installed... (what I should have installed in the first place.)

You learn something new every day.

Thanx again.
