Hi and welcome. Is there a history behind this problem? Was everything working fine yesterday?

If so, have you tried a system restore point?

You might look at the suggestions in that thread as well to see if any will work for you....ESPECIALLY ROG'S, very early in the thread.....post #9

Thanks...It started a few weeks ago, just started to get aggravating. I usually just 'cont.' and everything seems to work ok, would just like to get it to stop. Do you know what it means??

I posted again at the same time as you were....see that thread I linked to. Of course a system restore point could be the ticket as well. Make another one for today so you can get back to where you are.....

Or if it is running at startup, uncheck it via start, run, msconfig, startup tab.

It doesn't happen upon start up, nor is it in the 'start-up' list. Only with certain applications.

It's still starting up. I thought you said it wasn't running at startup

Start, run, msconfig, startup tab, uncheck that puppy.
