Well, if you're already running Linux, you can do a "man fsck" (no quotes) and get a whole bunch of information. Actually you can do a man for just about everything...

) you can go to linuxdoc.org and look up all the man pages, howtos, etc. Here's a link to the

By the way, it checks and repairs a Linux filesystem, a la Scandisk or Norton Speedisk.
