I guess this would fall under operating system I have road runner and I wanna get it to work on linux but road runner got rid of their login software so now it is just network so how do I setup road runner on linux?

Easy. RoadRunner's a cable modem service, right? All you have to do now is get you NIC configured with the correct IP information, and you should be fine...

Now, my turn for questions:

What kind of Network card did they give you? What version of Linux are you running? Have you tried to make you NIC work yet? Is it already working?

give me a little more info and we'll get this working. Trust me. I have a cable modem too!!!
