I'm on 2000....when I open my Outlook Express, I have preview panes. Normally, you should have two, the top to show that you have mail and its subject...the bottom shows the contents of the mail. I have a third that shows a small portion of the MSN screen. I can't get rid of it. It won't let me resize it or move it. It's just there. Does anyone know how to get rid of it or how it even got there? I would really appreciate any suggestions!!

Hi Ppath.
Are you sure you've got the "real" Outlook Express? In other words, when you hit Help-About, it says Outlook Express and not MSN or OE provided by MSN or some such nonsense? I can't make mine look like you describe.

Are you using Hotmail?

Any time you access Hotmail the Advert screen will pop up it comes hand in hand with Hotmail.

Opening your messages will cover the Advert screen. Or move your messages to a folder below the Outlook Express folder and read them there after you poll your Hotmail account.

Received an e-mail from Ppath
This is the message:

Thanks for your help....I am using hotmail. I didn't realize that the advert screen was part of it.
