Solved: Outlook 2003 - NOT SENDING
Very strange these Microsoft programs can be.
For some reason, every time I attempt to send mail with my Outlook 2003, it doesn't leave.

The following error message comes up: "Task 'pop.mail.yahoo.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'"

I am receiving mail fine. I've monkeyed around a bit with no success. This has been happening for about two days.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

I also get this error message: "The specified server was found, but there was no response from the server" (e-mail is received, no problems)
What the heck's going on?
This started happening out of the blue.

Check your antivirus program settings, disable any scanning of outgoing mail.

Thanks but that did not solve the problem either. Darn Microsoft, pain in the neck.

Can you confirm that you have the correct SMTP outgoing mail server configured in your Outlook settings? It looks like you are using pop3 with Yahoo mail, maybe they changed something on their end? Also, when did this start to happen? Did you change anything in Outlook recently? I'm guessing that you used to be able to send mail fine through Outlook with the same settings.
