Everytime I boot up into Windows 95, I get a little box that says DNAR in it. In order to get rid of it I have to reboot again. CTRL-ALT-DEL won't close it. What is this and how do I get rid of it without having to reboot? This PC is networked on a Novell Netware 4.11 network if this is of any help.
This really sounds like a software question, not a harware one... But it depends on this box - is it coming up BEFORE windows loads, after you get the desktop, or what? Exactly when in the boot process do you see it?
This DNAR box is down on the taskbar after windows 95 has loaded. Not sure what it is or what is causing it? Only way to remove it is to reboot....which,of course, is a big irritation.
Talked with Dell Support and they helped me to find the problem. It seems that the DNAR box that keep appearring after startup was caused by a DMI application. I just deltree the DMI app and bingo - problem gone. Thanks for your reply.
