Help!!!! Have been racking my brain, every reoccuring appointment that I have scheduled in Outlook 98 (running SR2) that is beyond the year 2000 will not allow me to modify that appointment. I get the error message "Can't open this item. The object could not be found." This is when I double click on the appointment. When I single click on the appt. to change I get the message "Could not save item. Your changes could not be saved because you don't have permission to modify some or all of the items in this folder." I can change it when I change my view from Day/Week/Month to Reoccuring Appointments. However, when I do that, I am unable to change just one occurence of that appointment. Please help, any suggestions would be greatful.

OK...Didn't get any replys but I figured it out....You have to uninstall outlook 98, and because of the "wonderful" installations of Microsoft products you have to manually delete the following files EMSUIX32.DLL EMSABP32.DLL EMSMDB32.DLL EMSUI32.DLL
You then have to reboot the machine and then reinstall Outloo 98 from the CD, reboot one more time and SHABANG! Everything is back to the way it was....for now.
