I have been playing around with my realplayer and found that I didn't like that much and deleted it. After this Netscape 4.7 would not load. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a new one and also have reinstalled Windows 98. My computer is an IBM Aptiva pentium 300 63 mb ram yr:1999. The following message comes up when Netscape is trying to load the plug-ins.NETSCAPE caused an invalid page fault in
module NETSCAPE.EXE at 015f:006043ad.

Try uninstalling Netscape again, but make sure that you actually go back and delete the "Communicator" directory that doesn't get removed by the uninstall (you'll also notice that there's a "Plugins" directory that wasn't deleted. Hmmm.) before you reboot and try another installation.

Let me know how this works.

One other thing is after doing what MikeV sugested, do CTRL+ALT+DEL and shut down any running apps except Explorer and the Netscape Installation Program before starting the download. The disableing of the Antivirus software is probably very important.

Hey Guys,
I am not sure if this will reach both of you. I hope that it does. I appreciate that you have gone out of your way to answer my problem. But, I broke down and called Netscape telephone help service. So after $30 bucks, they tell me to just rename my plugin file to oldplugin and make a new file called plugin in the same folder and then to reboot the computer. It worked, so if you here of anyone else with this problem, please mention it to them and have them save $30 big ones. Cheers!! and keep it free
