Windows 2000 has a very annoying feature that I would like to turn off. Several items in my start menu are not displayed right away. Microsoft built a feature to display only the more recently used items and hide all the others until you click on the downward-arrow at the bottom of the menu.
This is driving me up a wall. Does anybody know how to turn off this feature so that I can see "all" of my start menu items again? Thanks

Well, in Word 2000 that is under Tools, Customize, Options.

I would assume that win2k has something similar, but I don't have it installed so can't tell you where. Perhaps under the View, File area of explorer, where you associate file types?

I figured it out. Microsoft calls that feature "Personalized Menus". This can be turned on or off through the taskbar properties menu (right click on the taskbar).
Thanks for your input, it got me looking.
