Add a more clear link/reminder for the Rules
Maybe on top of the Login button? Something like a really visible "Don't forget to read the rules!". Or, instead of the page appearing right after logging in, the one that says, Redirecting... "Thank you for logging in, Phantom010.", it could be the Rules page? And you would need to click on another button to get to the forums?

I like the suggestion.... How about placing the link in bigger and bolder letter beside "view first unread"?

For new users, a summary and link to the rules is provided above the form to create a New Post. Presumably, others have already read the rules, but perhaps a reminder from time-to-time wouldn't hurt.

I think it would be annoying, and percieved as very patronizing.

I think the Rules link would look right at home next to the Donate button.

Your probably right, for the frequent visitor. But they really don't need a refresher on the rules anyway.
We would be reminding our new guests that we do have rules, and we expect them to be read and followed.

How about having the Rules read and agreed upon before a new user can sign up?
