I think that's a great idea as it draws more attention to new announcements rather than being yellow all the time.
I visited the forum but it stayed yellow. I will close and reopen and see what happens.

Well, I'm sure there will be other suggestions that have probably been made before by other members as well. It's hard to remember everything that's been discussed over the years. But I find it ironic that your only posts in this forum, which was largely publicized as a way to be heard to improve the site and make suggestions for the upgrade, were to complain about not getting credit for an idea. If it means that much to you, I'm sure Mike will amend his post.

Shouldn't be any need. Just visit the forum again and then back out.

Duh!

Ask a blonde a question and you will get a blonde answer!

I use the drop down forum menus at the top of the page.

It seems to only change if you use the "back" button to return to the main forum category page. Perhaps using the links at the top doesn't refresh the page?

Hmmm...I can't honestly answer that. I do use the back button on occasion but don't remember using it at that instance. Maybe Mike can clue us in whenever he finishes his "honey do" list.

Jim......have you clicked on both threads? You must have both (or all, eventually) showing as "read" (ie, not bold) for the forum to not be yellow. If there is anything bolded (new) in that forum, it will show as yellow on the main index.

Yes, I have been into both threads and cleaned my cache. No change yet. It's still yellow but I don't mind.
