Outlook Calendar *.ics problem
I have two users in my office who are being sent invitations to meetings via email. They are receiving an .ics file, but whenever they try to open it, they get the following error:

"This error can appear if you have attempted to save a recurring Lunar appointment in iCalendar format.
To avoid this error, set the appointment option to Gregorian instead of Lunar."

Problem is, that doesn't make a difference and the file still does not open.

Does anyone know why we are not able to open these .ICS files, and how to fix the problem. We are using Office 2003 on windows XP Pro incase that matters.

Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem today. It was caused by Panda antivirus software the client installed on his system. I disabled the Panda, and the error was gone. You might try to disable any antivirus and see if it helps.

ICS files Out of Oulook 2003 is no go
I don't know bout your side of the ICS coin but mine is with Windows Live Mail and Calendars. I want to get my calendar items from MS Outlook 2003 into windows live calendcar and it only imports ICS which MS OUtlook doesn't export.

It's got to be something like MS Office 2007 not compatable with 2003.
I've never heard of ICS files in all my years of pc-ing.

Hope someone else can add some light to this
Is there a converter somewhere?
the help files on MS and windows are NO HELP
