MS Office 2000 and Printing Freezes
I have a dilemna on my hands here. I'm the Tech support of a homeless Shelter/Charity. Now my dilemna is we have a 2000 Advanced server which does nothing more than have profiles and shares files. Now everyone in the organization has there own desktop printer, which I know is very inefficient and such. Now the dilemna is something either on the server side or on the network that wreak havoc on several computer when they are logged onto there profile.

I had a colleague do some testing by using MS Word, MS Outlook, and try to print. When he uses an MS products, within a couple or minutes the program would freeze up and no respond, and all testing are done on Win ME (Don't ask). It the same when it comes to printing too, we would try to print and it would freeze and it does not print.

Now, I know it's not a local problem on each computer because we also tested it without connecting it to the network or logging onto there profiles, and I told them to test that way, and it was fine no hang ups or freezes.

I am a little stump on the problem. Can anyone shed some like on this matter?

Thanks
