Hello Folks,
Have read this thread with interest and it tells me the answer to my problem.
The cause I am sure was caused by a re-install of my card reader, got the message immediately after.
For now I have disabled the programm in msconfig. No more trouble and I'll leave it at that for now.
Thank you.

Hello,
I have tried renaming drives, deleting programs, scans, ect. to no avail. I don't have HP, no itunes, no quicktime...ect, printers are stable.

This annoyance started after defragging two days ago. I get the "pop-in" @ a few programs, even made my video card act unstable (had to lower acceleration from full to middle).

Finnally, I did a restore to the day before my last windows update and all is fine again! How much are those macs going for?

I found that I started receiving the problem after I installed my Windows update. My problem is caused by the process "system32:dllhost.exe." It appears just like that in the Windows Task Manager, and I no longer receive the error message after I end that task.

EDIT: I took a screen shot of my error message. http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...onal/error.jpg

The C0000013 Exception Processing Message
This seems to be a nasty and dangerous Spam - I got hit when trying to backup using Norton Save and Restore 2.

Norton 360 (Ver 1) couldn't get round it Installing and running Norton 360 Ver 2 (a big improvement) seemed to fix the problem.

Smile Windows-no disk, HP computer, MEDIA Center

Finally!
It seems that everyone had a different solution, but they didn't work for me. Until that is, I follwed SM1DDLE's solution. It worked! If your Windows-no disk problem seems to be associated with starting up Media Center I strongly suggest you try the software update listed above. Thanks SM1DDLE!

Thumbs up I'm sure that card reader is reson.
Try insert any card into MP610 and choose "do nothing" with "allways check box" If you have this problem.

Had the same problem. spend entire day working on this. I notice however this error only pop up when i tried to access my hdd.
Eventually, i figure out that my pc was infected with a trojan virus. It infected the autorun.vbs
If u see this file in c:\windows\autorun.vbs, c:\autorun.vbs, or in ur taskmgr a file wscript.exe,
chances are u having the exact same problem as i did.. ran a virus scan and have it removed..

My No Disc caption card comes up sometimes on start up when the desktop and icons appear, there is two beeps and green light appears on the floppy disc drive, it seems to be searching for a disk that isn't there.
I deleted the 3.1/2 Floppy icon from the desktop and go through My Computer to access it.
I now have no proplem.

I have this issue with a machine that came from Acer. I have already removed Norton from the machine, and tried the Norton removal tool as recommended - Didn't work for me I'm afraid, but I also have a card reader, so maybe this is the root cause...

No Autorun virus and no odd processes starting up either This machine hasn't been updated for a couple months and doesn't have Windows Media Center either! Maybe it is a Hard Disk issue in this case...

Hi and welcome. It might be best to post a question for your problem. You can link it here, and I'll take a look at it. Try to post a Hijack This log with it, so we can see what is indeed running at startup.
