Quicktime may be the cause ("C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime or Quicktime itself).
When starting, Quicktime tries to read the recently opened files. If one of these files has been deleted or moved then Quicktime crashes with the message "Windows - no disk : Exception processing message c0000013 parameters 75b6bf9c etc"

Solution : delete the file c:\windows\system32\QuickTimeFavorites.qtr.

Hey Folks, Its not the software its some type of glitch with the usb ports.
I had this problem for weeks and couldnt figure out the issue. Im a photographer and constantly insert and remove memory cards directly into my computer or using a card reader. Well you know the little green arrow that says safely remove external drives?? Yea I rarely click that. So this is what happened. I did not safely remove, the error meessage pops up. I have not inserted a memory card into this specific computer just to be safe. I look at there it is, the safely remove button ( although no card is inserted) click it and the problem disappeared. Try it. Sometimes we jsut have to keep it simple. All that other techy stuff and info just went to waste.

It will work. believe me...

Peace

I figured this one out...
I bet what you all have in common is you have a removable mass storage drive (CF card readers, etc) which has a drive letter *before* your first hard drive. The guy with the USB printer has the issue because his printer has a built in card reader. When it's off, the CF reader and the low-lettered drive goes away.

To solve go into Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Disk Management and change the drive letter of any removable drive to something later than your hard drive. If your hard drive is H:, make your removable drive I:.

Not Network Mapping
I have two USB Mass Media devices and they are both listed after my two harddrives and CD/DVD drive, and still getting the error. However, do agree that ensuring that you "stop" the device before removing appears to give me fewer errors.

I had the same exact problem. I have Windows XP, SP-2.
I fixed it very easy by : 1st disablying the Floppy Drive; 2nd Turning Off the PC; 3rd Restarting the PC again (this re-enables the floppy drive) and no more messages ever again.

Thanks for that, it solved my problem. Just one thing, how do I get rid of 'Dit' from the startup menu? I can deselect it but not delete the entry. Also when windows loads it says it is in selective startup mode. I have stopped the message from appearing when windows starts by selecting the checkbox but I don't like to leave it this way.
Will i need to edit the registry to remove it and if so can you advise any editors (prefrably free!) that will do the job?
Good info though, thanks.

Smile windows no disk exception processing message c0000013
I too have been bothered with this today. I have followed all advice posted here which unfortunately did not help. I have though found a solution that worked for me .
I have a dell optiplex which has generally been fine until this error.
However I have always had some problems with the integrated floppy drive.
I have gone into the bios and disabled my floppy drive. Hurrah no more windows no disk errrors every 5 mins.

Try this it may work for you.

Been over an hour and no message

Talking Exception processing message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c
Just received this message 2 days ago, after uninstalling BlackIce. Have had no real issues other than the java box that pops up, tell it to cancel, and business as usual. Just thought some bright star out there might have some juicy tidbits for an old guy. Many Spanks

Hi all, I've had this problem for the last few days. Just want to share what solved it for me.

I've been using a memory card reader, and when I first used a new SD card in it the other day, I renamed the card through My Computer. (My Computer -> Right click the card -> Properties - text box at the top of General tab).

After this I started getting the error any time I plugged that card in.

To fix it, I simply went back into Properties and deleted the name I had entered. This stopped the problem instantly.

Exception processing message
I too have this problem.
Can it be related to the drive that boots XP?
I replaced my "C" hard drive, reinstalled XP Pro now my boot drive is "L".
The message appears when I start System Mechanic 7. I hit "Continue' or "Cancel" five times, the message goes away and everything works fine.

The first thread I read after getting the problem mentioned, "it appears the system's looking for a drive that's not there". No mentions on any threads on the drive they are booting from.
From all the other threads I've read it seems nobody knows what causes it.
Maybe the first thread has a point?
Anyone?

Windows -no disk exception error
Hi
I am a newboy to this forum.
I have also started getting this window which matches exactly that found by others. I tracked it down to the "Tevion" combo a usb2 3port hub and media card reader. The windw appears when I boot up with the device connected to the PC. I do not get the error when plugged in to the laptop.
Was interested to read of Andy's solution but it didn't work for me. I couldn't find any dit files.
My laptop just accepts the device an lists both the USB drives and card readers but not so the PC.
Any help would be appreciated

Windows -No Disk
The way I use to work around the dreaded Windows - no disk Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c is to leave a copy of my original "Microsoft Works Suite 2004" in the CD ROM Drive (in my case drive F).....If I need to use the F Drive at any time, I simply remove the Microsoft Disc from the drive and use the Drive as normal.....After your finished working at your computer don't forget to replace the "Copy of Microsoft Works Disc" into the CD ROM Drive F before closing down...
The next time you Boot your machine the Windows-No Disk error will not appear......
I hope it works for you......Let Me Know.....
