cut and paste
I am cutting and pasting sentences from a web page into MS word for the purpose of studying for a interview. Not copying anything that I should not be.

The first item that I copied and pasted from the internet appeared on my MS word document.
Every subsequent time that I tried to copy and paste, the first sentence that I copied and pasted onto my MS Word document keeps appearing.

It is not allowing me to cut and paste anymore I just keep getting the original sentence that I copied over and over again.
I have even tried copying from the opposite side of the sentence.

This has even happened to me on other computers. It is very frustrating.
On other computers it has worked when I copied the line twice and then inserted it in my document.

What am I doing wrong?

Try "Copy & Paste" instead--- it should work fine.

There may be large items on the Office Clipboard The Office Clipboard may stop adding items — even if there are fewer than 24 — if you copy large items to it. The Office Clipboard stores a maximum of one-sixteenth of the amount of physical memory on your computer.
